ARUPLO Training

ARUPLO organizes an annual training opportunity for staff in September of each year. This is an opportunity for staff of member systems to come together and learn from each other in a conference setting.  ARUPLO Training has been held in recent years at the Nottawasaga Inn Resort & Conference Centre.

ARUPLO Training
ARUPLO’s annual fall training retreat has returned for Fall 2025!

Our training focuses on the trends across rural/urban branches in a setting that promotes shared learning and social connections. This multiday event is designed to support your professional growth through structured workshops, open networking time, dinner socials, and personal reflection. Training is developed annually by a standing committee of ARUPLO who works with the Ontario Library Association to create a seamless learning experience focused on the most up-to-date learning needs.

We are fortunate to have Emily Burns, Director of Education and Impact for the Ontario Library Association, returning to facilitate this training.

2025 training will be held at the Nottawasaga Inn Resort from September 24-26. For more information contact Brooke McLean, ARUPLO Chair, at [email protected].
